Landed in DXB right in time for New Year's Eve, 

and first thing in the morning went to Dubai Mall at 10am.

Guess when I left: I couldn't  believe myself how much time I spent there: 8pm.

Yes I was inside the mall the whole day, 10 hours. O.o 

Basically everything I wear I got there on that day:

When I was first time in Dubai, I was enchanted by every scene, in every second - and the pictures are the proof! 

Therefore while strolling around Marina, I somehow managed to meet a photographer as a passer-by, 

who is an author of the following shoot. Sorry for no-cultural-sensitivity in terms of my skirt length,

I was a pretty purely European tourist on that occassion, who simply fell in love in the flowers found on Marina Walk...  xxx 

P.S. Only after few years here I feel more Arab than European now...and would never ever wear such skirt length again anywhere in Dubai... Now more and more often I feel like I seriously need an abaya to go out... 

Whole outfit was pretty much Forever 21, as this is when the London store was not yet there, so that was the only opportunity for me to shop in this American chain before a trip to Europe...

London on a rainy night

Well, this is what I used to do when I was invited to a party in London and didn't have what to wear. 

In order to check my outfit, I had to click a picture, and in order to click a good one, 

I had to go out. Well it was raining, as it usually does in London, but it was not an issue, 

since my pink umbrella was only adding some final touch to this stylisation. 

All in all, the top, you will not believe, is created from the scarf.

And the hairstyle plus makeup done by...my Photoshop skills. Haha x

Birthday gift to myself

So on my birthday in February I got this amazingly beautiful Jaguar Key Holder while I was watching my future Jag XF at the Jaguar Salon in Mayfair. I love it because it is in the shape of heart! Ohhh sooo amazing <3

The time when, after some late outing, I felt like having a photoshoot in the middle of the night, in the heart of London. Crazy 2009. The shot, the retouching, makeup, hair, styling - all by myself. Oh ok, the scenery - credits to London's autumn.

Few words about the London Fashion Week. As the event was happening in the Somerset House located 10 mins walk from my place, I couldn't do anything else but attend. I saw nice designer pieces in the showroom and attended Bora Aksu Fashion show. Actually, there were not so many people as I was thinking that it will be enormously packed. It was classy, and fashionable. Someone appraised my lovely pinky scarf. And someone else noticed my shoes. I think it was amazing opportunity to attend such a prestigious fashion event some may only dream of. Great time :)

Photography is an important part of my life. My Canon EOS allows me for a much more detailed perception of the world that surrounds me. Photoshop lets me sature the colours and make the memories more polished and intense, so that when I watch the pictures them long time after, I recall every thought and emotion of that moment. Fashion is a part of my identity.
Although I do not want to, I am very sentimental to the Lacoste shoes that travelled the world with me. I bond with them so they become the part of me.
Also, each day, each cloth makes you a different person. You are never the same twice just like you never have two identical days.
Life is full of positive surprises and I decide to take a sheer delight in the small and big luxurious pleasures in life.

I love: my new rose Chanel lipstick which gives new dimension to my lips, my jaguar key lock holder that lets me imagine one day I will hold my Jaguar XF keys attached to, my classy fragrance of Chanel Allure bought at Chanel boutique at Old Bond Street in London, on that Day when the guy at Prada's store told me that I have a nice bag and showed me the model of the purse belonging to Queen Rania.
I adore the smell of Allure which attracts men with much greater power than before. Allure makes me feel such confidence just as the man who is my inspiration has and therefore our personal charm beams and bubbles touching others' auras and makes our souls glow with joy.

This chapter of my life is called London, beginning III.
This is a part where I fin a new dimension of London's fashion and taste, and I am trying to establish my preferences.

There are few places in London where I could just be and admire design. They include Palm Beach Casino in Mayfair, G Casino in Soho, The Intercontinental Hotel, UAE Embassy in Princess Gate, Louis Vuitton Boutique, Palm garden in EC1, Sketch, LTD Bathrooms shop where they have this golden bin covered with Swarovski crystals, just like the one Shaikh Mohammed has in his office, St Pauls Grange Hotel's swimming pool and spa.The piano bar at the Dorchester hotel and the drinks they serve in the bar downstairs.
OGO hibiscus water in the little round bottles from Harrods and white Belgian chocolate from their food halls.The bar on the last floor of Hilton Park Lane and the view of London through the windows.
